Matt and Susanne Tjugum are a husband and wife team who have been married 15 years and have been blessed with three wonderful boys; Jacob, Noah and Samuel.  They are the Owners/Photographers of JNS Photography, with Susanne being the prime photographer and Matt being the associate event photographer.

 

"Photography can be very personal and emotional and we always feel so honored when people choose us to photograph their child or family or special event.  When it is all said and done we feel that our clients have become a part of our family."

 

Together they have found that by blending their styles they have developed a style that is all their own.  Susanne is passionate about capturing the personalities and the fun, loving relationships of her clients; yet she has a deep love of the drama and art involved in todays modern portraiture.  Matt has a photojournalist approach to his photography and enjoys capturing "moments in time" as well as the little details that make each event unique and emotional.  

 

Susanne's love of photography began in her younger years and exploded after she had her first child.   She wanted to have the ability to look back at photos of her children and see their expressions and personalities shining through.  Her unique ability to capture the personality of her clients is her best asset in her art.  

Together Matt and Susanne have 9 years of photography experience with 7 years in Wedding Portraiture.  They have both trained under acclaimed photographers in the portrait and wedding photography industry.  They attend workshops and seminars regulary to keep abreast of the quickly growing technological and software advances.  Professional Canon equipment is used at all times.

The Love
